I especially like the way the starlit sky brushes came out :] They’re also the ones that were the toughest to make. Ever seen a free nebula resource for Illustrator? Didn’t think so. At least I didn’t find one.
There’s 1 scatter brush for bubbles, 3 for rain (to be used together – otherwise the rain looks pretty plain) and 4 for a starry sky (to be used whatever your liking).
How to install: in the brushes panel click the down-left-most folder icon and click Load… (or sthg like that – I usually just copy resources to the appropriate folders, but I have no idea where Illustrator keeps them on a Windose machine), navigate to the place you downloaded the .ai file, select it and hit OK.
There’s a link to the Creative Commons license on the deviation page – generally the sharing rules are:
- I won’t get angry if you use it and won’t credit me, but I would appreciate if you send me a link to your artwork and some feedback :]
- No selling it as a part of a commercial resource package. And I’m gonna be real serious about it.
- Hell, enjoy
